From Brisbane to Kilcoy and beyond the team travels far and wide with a proven catch and release program in place- their aim is to successfully rescue, rehabilitate and release. Hi guys, very painful and upsetting to watch. What a terrible death for these beautiful turtles and other marine animals. Crab pots, don't like the very nature of their purpose and what they represent. Should be renamed 'Trap Pots' or 'Crap Pots'.
Let's face it guys, unfortunately not everyone feels like we do regarding wildlife. Many still think everything on this amazing planet is solely for their taking and use. It would be a real wake up call for many if reminded that we share this planet. I just hope, for the sake of mankind and the animal kingdom, that there are more good guys out there than bad guys. That's another reason I love to tune in to Australia Zoo - so many good guys in one place, wonderful.
How do you get through to people who just don't want to be got through to (if you know what I mean)? I know what Steve would say - KEEP TRYING.
Love to all, Gail xx
