    Hey Sharon....I keep 2 snakes of my own. The first, a Brazilian rainbow boa, I have as a direct result of Steve Irwin's influence. Had it not been for his obvious love and care for all reptiles, I would have never been remotely interested in snakes. Now, I love them all!

    I've never really understood why most people fear, even hate snakes. Over 2700 species worldwide, yet none have ever hurt me. In fact, the only animal species to ever cause me harm stands on 2 legs!

    I'm really afraid of snakes, and to me all snakes are venomous! I would never hurt one or kill one, just respect them and stay clear of them! I do like that white spotted snake that appears in many of your pictures, I must admit she is a really "cool snake"!!
