Did I hear right, that the Mining Company have withdrawn their proposal? Why oh why wasn't this wonderful piece of news advertised more? Such a triumph for all the people who recognised the importance, beauty and relevance of this magnificent area and, for those who didn't, at least it will now still be there in the future if you change your minds. A big thank you to Terri and all those who made it possible (including me ....... I signed the petition)!!!!!!!!!! Also, the very reasons you mention why you work at Australia Zoo are exactly the same reasons I visit Australia Zoo, plus of course it is the home of my beloved Steve and family. When i was in 5th grade i watch this TV programe called ANIMAL PLANET i was fascinated by the animals and the people trying to save them especially Steve Irwin he is my hero and always be my hero and so i've decided to be a veterinarian to help animals just like him! thanks Steve for all the inspirations you gave me!
